Day 1

In the evening, participants gathered for a networking dinner, complete with Rwandan traditional dancing, to continue discussing and building relationships.
Day 2
The second day of the Forum focused on moving from funding to financing by exploring how stronger financing architectures can support sustainable investments for young children. Discussions examined the evolving landscape, emerging partnerships, and real-world examples of innovative approaches. Participants engaged in deep-dive dialogues with South Africa and Colombia, reflecting on lessons learned across diverse contexts. The day concluded with parallel sessions on investment readiness, accountability systems, and strategies for integrating catalytic and private financing into long-term public systems and sustainable pathways.
Day 3
The third day of the Forum featured partner-led sessions focused on practical tools, innovative financing approaches, advocacy strategies, and systems transformation for early years investment. Discussions explored topics including public expenditure reviews, home-based childcare, outcomes-based financing,costing ECD services, and building sustainable financing commitments ahead of the 2027 International Finance Summit forEarly Childhood. Sessions also highlighted country experiences from Rwanda and Colombia, showcasing how governments, funders, and partners can work together to strengthen quality, scale, and long-term sustainability of early childhood systems.
